Far East Organization (“远东机构”) has sold 181 units from a preview of its latest residential development, euHabitat.
euHabitat, sited on Jalan Eunos, presents a holistic live-work-play environment with a unique composition of four styles of housing options in one contemporary community – one bedroom suites, SOHO-style apartments, condominium apartments and townhouses. Prices start from $541,000 for one-bedroom suites (538 sqft), $593,000 for a one-bedroom SOHO-style apartment (517 sqft), $918,000 for a two-bedroom condominium apartment (1,012 sqft) and $2.94mil for townhouses (3,380 sqft).
Far East Organization’s Chief Operating Officer, Property Sales, Mr Chia Boon Kuah (谢文华), said “We are happy with the strong take-up during the preview. euHabitat has appealed to the market with its first-of-its-kind clustering of different housing styles each with its own distinctive character to match varying lifestyle aspirations. euHabitat enjoys a prime location in an area that is rapidly transforming. “
Close to 70 per cent of buyers were Singaporeans and permanent residents. 52 one-bedroom suites have been sold. The one- and two-bedroom SOHO units have also garnered similar strong interest with 39 units sold. Other units sold include one-bedroom apartments (20 units), two-bedroom apartments (34 units), three-bedroom apartments (25 units), and townhouses (11 units).
“With the strong interest that we continue to see at euHabitat, we will be bringing forward the official launch of the development to 19 August,” added Mr Chia.
Diverse options, Distinctive blend of spaces
euHabitat is a creative melting pot of diverse communities offering ample opportunities for social interaction yet catering to individuals’ needs for privacy and exclusivity. The four housing styles are clustered within distinct enclaves with dedicated social and recreational spaces, while enjoying access to the rich tropical landscape, luscious greenery, calming water bodies and wide array of leisure facilities throughout the development’s sprawling 444,000 sq ft grounds.
Young professionals and entrepreneurs seeking creative spaces to live, work and connect in can choose from the suites, SOHO apartments and smaller condominium units. The one bedroom suites exude an ultra modern and hip attitude in keeping with the personality of its residents. The SOHO apartments with high floor to ceiling heights of 3.4 m (5 m for ground floor units) present voluminous spaces and a canvas for creative minds to maximise their living and working environments. euHabitat also has family friendly condominium apartment and townhouses. The latter, which come with private enclosed spaces and roof gardens, and enjoy direct access to the pools running through the development, cater to homeowners who desire more space but prefer to live in a gated community with condominium facilities.
Tapping the energy of a rejuvenated precinct
euHabitat is primed to benefit from the wave of transformation and rejuvenation gaining momentum in its neighbourhood. The adjacent Paya Lebar Central, located at the fringe of the city centre, is envisaged to be a major commercial hub of the east, with a mix of office, retail, hotel developments and attractive public spaces. Nearby, the Geylang River is undergoing a makeover, with future developments integrating with the water body. The riverbanks will be brought to life with new recreational facilities and communal spaces such as boardwalks, promenades and bridges.
Nearby is cosmopolitan East Coast which blends modernity with heritage. The area has seen the rejuvenation of old private estates through en bloc redevelopment and new commercial, residential and leisure centres taking shape. In addition, plans by the government to enhance

the public spaces such as the new 3.8-km green connector linking East Coast Park to Bedok Town Centre and Bedok Reservoir contribute to the attraction of the precinct.
euHabitat is located at the confluence of major transportation networks in the Jalan Eunos/Paya Lebar area. It enjoys convenient access to the Eunos MRT station as well as the upcoming Ubi and Kaki Bukit MRT stations on the future Downtown Line 3. euHabitat’s complimentary shuttle bus service to Eunos MRT and Paya Lebar MRT Interchange stations, Parkway Parade and 112 Katong (former Katong Mall), will further enhance connectivity to key amenities, while the PIE/CTE and main trunk roads offer speedy connection to the city and the airport.
euHabitat is also within close distance to a number of business centres such as Changi Business Park, Tampines Regional Centre, Kaki Bukit Industrial Estate and the Pasir Ris Fabrication Park. The opening of Singapore's first permanent motor racing track, the Changi Motorsports Hub, its racing academy and museum will bring its own pulsating line-up of events.
A number of educational institutions are also spread across the precinct, such as Eunos Primary School, Bedok North Seconday School, Victoria Junior College, United World College (S.E.A) and the future Singapore University of Technology and Design set to open in 2012.
euHabitat is jointly developed by Far East Organization and Orchard Parade Holdings Limited.
