Goodrich Global Hand-painted Wallcovering Exhibition: Art meets lifestyle for “Your Cover Story”

With “Your Cover Story” as its goal, the brand turns wallcoverings into canvases that portray different stories, blending artistic elements into our everyday life. From April 25^th through May 6^th, Goodrich presents a selection exhibition with flowers and birds as the theme, and inspires audience with one-of-the-kind aesthetics.

The Goodrich Global exhibition will showcase a selection of 10 pieces with patterns including green bamboos, magnificent peonies, graceful daisies, colourful peacocks and sweet leiothrix couples – all are fine, painstaking creatures by dedicated artisans who aspire to embellish every cosy home with murals that bring nature indoors. All veteran artisans at Goodrich Global are graduates from renowned art institutes in Mainland China. From the exquisite exhibits, audience will certainly be amazed by the harmonious blend of craftsmanship and freehand brushwork, of unique styles from the East and the West, of cutting-edge designs and traditional styles within the brushwork, decorations, oil and abstract paintings. These are all priceless art pieces.

Fun Wallcovering Painting Workshop for the Public

Every sheet of Goodrich Global’s distinctive hand-painted wallcoverings requires the most painstaking selection of materials and flawless skills. Besides these, each roll of moisture-proof, easy-to-clean and seamless wallcovering has to go through a series of innovative processes before it meets perfection. Dedicated to manufacture eco-friendly and zero-harm products, Goodrich Global endeavours to customise products with customers who decide what themes, concepts, and even sizes their dream wallcovering will be. For this exhibition, Goodrich Global has invited two seasoned artisans from Beijing to be present at the exhibition and demonstrate for visitors their superb painting skills and the hand-making process. Visitors can hand-paint their own wallcovering under the guidance by the artisans to create their unique ‘Cover Story’.

Wallcovering Design Painting Competition

Besides showcasing its selected work, Goodrich Global, the tireless motivator promoting original local design, will also reveal to the public the three prized pieces and the Facebook popularity award-winning design from a previously held wallcovering design competition “Hong Kong’s Life and Culture: The Beauty of Hong Kong in 1960s and 1970s”. The competition received tremendous support from design school students who used wallcoverings as their canvas to portray the everyday life in Hong Kong, blending culture and art into lifestyle. Professional judges including Hong Kong’s most established interior designer Mr Steve Leung and Mr. Alfred Neo, Executive Director of China Region, Goodrich Global; selected the outstanding pieces and will present the awards to the winners on the opening day of the exhibition (April 25^th).
