New World Gentlemen’s Club - Goodrich Gallery

Imagine an old world English study or an old boys club. This is a look that is serious but comfortable, sophisticated but bold; unashamedly arrogant somewhat. For this contemporary uptake on a classic masculine deco, we draw inspiration from a most luxurious source: brown leather. Though you’re welcome to opt for dark wood flooring – such as Oak Java – brushed Tarkett wood from Goodrich – those who don’t play it safe should try a more daring selection: Guocera’s Leather Tobacco Tiles. They have the look, class and - seriously feel of actual leather but also carry all the breezy maintenance of porcelain tiles.

Walls can either be equally expressive (maybe an Art Nouveau number from the harlequin – Lucido collection by Goodrich ) or be adequately safe by way of a smooth paint sheen the likes of Polished Leather (a lighter shade than the tiles) complemented by Natural Oak or even Eggshell, all from Nippon.  Dress up the space with classic studded leather sofas, juxtaposed with modernized Louis XVI chairs or Art Deco pieces. But avoid chrome and anything prissy.
