News Release: Fabric from Piccadilly Collection, Blendworth, Goodrich

Blendworth’s latest collection Piccadilly is inspired by London’s boutique hotels and their cutting-edge interiors, Piccadilly is a collection of beautiful Damasks and Velvets with a sophisticated mix of contemporary design and timeless elegance.

The Piccadilly collection includes:

Cavendish - a two-over figured velvet inspired by the ironwork designs found on 18^th Century London buildings. 75% natural and incredibly durable with a Martindale of 37,000 rubs, Cavendish marries classic British design with a contemporary colour palette of soft neutrals, spicy reds and rich golds to create a dramatic effect.

Montague  - damasks, stripes, geometrics and ironwork patterns are elevated into visions of grandeur by the clever choice of colour and natural qualities of the cloth. The four-over, decorative damask motif comes in seven elegant colourways and flaunts a beautiful lustrous finish, not typically seen on 100% cotton fabrics.

Thurloe  - uniform colours works beautifully with the aforementioned damask design. Similar in design to the ironwork styling of Cavendish, Thurloe is a two-over damask on the same 100% cotton quality of Montague.

Draycott - another figured velvet that shares many of Cavendish’s natural characteristics, provides a delightfully versatile addition tothe range. Very usable in its own right and as a co-ordinate, the small scale geometric fretwork design lends itself to modest detailing, full upholstery and everything in between.

Portman - rounding off Piccadilly is a broad cotton stripe design embellished with ottoman and chevron weaves. Brilliantly easy to work with and in four colour variations universal across many Blendworth ranges it instantly comes into play as a the new ‘go to’ stripe.
