With the introduction of the first Wallpower collection, wall high images and designs form part of today’s interiors. From the rose, the mysterious forest and the baroque tulip to the blown up ornaments and the patchwork, all are top sellers. And now four years after the first Wallpower collection, Eijffinger proudly presents the fourth book in this series: Wallpower Mini.

As the name suggest, this book showcases happy prints and designs for the very little. For girls there is an offer of various designs with colourful flowers in a variety of styles, and there are fashionable babushkas and an enormous butterfly. For boys there is a wide variety of prints: dinosaurs, pirates and super heroes, flags, toy cars and a rodeo cowboy on horse.

This collection is also meant for decorating the baby room and because of this there are various panels that can be used for both baby boys and girls. Miffy is also back in this collection for European customers. There are four new designs in various colours.

A number of smaller images of 2 up to 4 panels can be hung in reverse to create a patchwork or can be pasted as a repeat (examples are Prairie and Butterfly Lace). There are now available co-ordinating plains to go along with the image (examples are Dear Deer and Miffy Getting Dressed). The Wallpower Mini is printed on smartpaper quality making it easy to hang.

Fabric from Options 11 collection, Sanderson, Goodrich

In January 2013, Sanderson launched a new Designer Options collection, Options 11. The Designer Options series has been going on for 31 years with the first Options collection launched in 1982.

The OPTIONS 11 collection was created by three well know British designers, a renowned Italian designer and three designers from the Sanderson studio. The designs include contemporary, classic Indiennes and fresh florals, all presented in co-ordinated schemes.

There are a total of eleven designs in jubilant colours:

Jubilee Square was originally painted in the 1950’s by Wendy Bray, who recognising the recent interest in retro design brought her portfolio out of storage. It is a whimsical street scene using images of her long-time family home and dolls house with park benches, trees, lampposts and dogs. It is printed on brushed cotton in three colourways and is suitable for upholstery and curtains.

Apples & Pears designed by Claire Hart was inspired by the fruit motifs in Morning View. It is a simple arrangement of halved fruits in two colourways and printed on cotton.

Sussex Downs was created by Jenny Frean and is inspired by the countryside around her home, a subject she often draws on. The line illustrations are spontaneously sketched, depicting trees, hedgerows and scattered dwellings. It is available on unbleached linen union in two colours and fine cotton voile in one colourway.

Varese was designed by Giacomo Barzaghi. It was painted using an unusual technique which lets the paint bleed creating a blurred, unfocused effect. Abstract flower motifs have been coloured in contemporary combinations including rich berry tones, indigos and charcoal. It is digitally printed on cotton satin in four colourways, suitable for curtains and upholstery.

Maple was designed by Fiona Howard. Areas of flat colour are juxtaposed with bold abstract leaf shapes and etched marks to create a contemporary and graphic image. It is printed on slub cotton in four colourways, suitable for upholstery & curtains.

Spring Flowers, designed by Alison Gee, has been painted in a loose watercolour style with subtle tonal effects that are reproduced in the print. It shows a mix of spring flowers including hyacinths and anemones. It is printed on linen/ viscose in four colourways.

Ranee, also designed by Alison Gee, is adapted from an Indian embroidery and is painted to imitate a delicate chain stitch. It shows a classic trail with stylized birds and is printed in three colourways on slub cotton.

Fantasy Garden was designed by Helen Sydney and is a contemporary interpretation of a tree of life printed on slub cotton in three colourways.

Fifi is an original ‘50s’ Sanderson wallpaper, which was re-discovered in 2012. Fifi is a whimsical design , which shows fashionable ladies in ‘new look’ dresses. It is printed on cotton in two colourways .   Beautiful Ballons is a charming collection that combines whimsical embroideries for the young at heart with elegant embroidered trails, complemented by multicoloured satin stripes. Beautiful Balloons is a stunning design of hot air balloons floating across the sky adorned with lively, colourful patterns. It is embroidered on cotton twill in four colourways.

Asami a charming embroidery of cherry boughs and blossom. The yarns used to embroider the blossom motifs have been cut to create delicate pompoms. It is embroidered on linen union in six colourways.

Ranee Embroidery is a delicate Indienne pattern displaying a stylised trail of blossoms and leaves. It has been embroidered using a technique that imitates the chain stitch used on traditional hand stitched Indian cloths. It is available in three colourways on cotton twill.

Carpet from Kids Collection, Brink & Campman, Goodrich
