Japan’s Leading Brand of Hot Yoga, LAVA Yoga, Opens First Studio in Singapore

Singapore, 2014 - LAVA Yoga is a leading yoga brand in Japan, with more than 120 studios all over the country. They have recently opened their first overseas women-only branch in Singapore at Katong I12 Mall. They hope to spread their unique signature style; Unification of Music and Hot Yoga to the Singaporean community.

With over 10 years of experience in operating studios in Japan, LAVA Yoga has risen to become the biggest yoga brand. LAVA Yoga is now on to the next phase of evolution and expansion, in spreading their unique brand across the shores and Singapore is their first stop.

LAVA Yoga’s concept of “Everyday With You” is about bringing the studio close to the homes of people to encourage the practice of yoga as part of daily life to achieve the various health goals and a means to find happiness.

The women-only studio is a unique concept as the programs are catered to the health and beauty of women. There are currently 4 different specially designed programs catering to students of all levels. The signature Basic program is a continuous Vinyasa flow class fused with original music to appeal to the 5 senses through breath and movement.

The Pelvis and Figure Abdominal program works on building the specific area to promote weight loss, improved posture, tone and balance, which complement the Basic program.

For those who seek a more relaxing class, Anti-aging focuses on regulating the female hormone system through a series of gentle postures, breathing and stimulation of the pelvic floor muscles. All classes are conducted in a heated room of about 35 degrees Celsius to aid the process of detoxification.
