Gold award for Monterosa Alco-app

The App for the Swedish Alcohol Monopoly was awarded The Golden Egg last night at the Swedish Advertising Awards. The campaign was created by Ad Agency Forsman & Bodenfors and Digital Agency Monterosa.

The idea of the App “Promillekoll” is simple - It helps you to maximise your well-being throughout the evening, by keeping track of your blood alcohol level. 

The max well-being alcohol could give you, is at its peak at 0.6‰. Once you pass that threshold, the brain's ability to pick up dopamine, serotonin and endorphins is reduced. Enter sex, weight, length and input everything you drink and the app will continuously calculate your current blood alcohol level. It can also tell you what to drink to avoid exceeding the limit.

"It´s an intoxicating feeling to win gold for this piece. The entire team have been working so hard on the project and we are of course very happy about the victory. We probably should have used the app last night when celebrating", says Johan Ståhle with a smile (Founder & Creative Strategist at Monterosa).

This is the third Golden Egg won by the four year old agency Monterosa. The app "Promillekoll" is also shortlisted at The Clio Awards in NewYork, where the winners will be announced in May.
