The maritime industry is progressively adopting digitalisation as a game-changing approach to enable long-term value proposition for businesses through innovation. This is achieved by embracing the concept of ‘Industry 4.0’ to transform the maritime industry with digital competencies such as data analytics.

The inaugural Norway-Singapore Maritime Digitalisation Forum 2017 is jointly presented by Innovation Norway, Royal Norwegian Embassy in Singapore, and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore to bring together government, business and technology leaders to discuss and debate on the adoption of digitalisation in the maritime transport sector.

We are honoured to have Ambassador of Norway to Singapore, Her Excellency Anita Nergaard, gracing the Forum as Guest-of-Honour along with distinguished speakers and panellists such as President of the Singapore Shipping Association, Mr Esben Poulsson, Vice President and Regional Manager (South-east Asia, Oceania & India) of DNV GL, Dr Alam Khorshed, and Chief Technology Officer of Singapore Technologies Electronics, Mr David Tan.
