Postponed to next year: 30 Oct Luncheon Talk: What is happening underground in Singapore?
Norwegian underground technology has made the start of developing Singapore underground space possible as expressed by Jurong Town Corporation’s ACEO David Tan: “Going underground is one option for Singapore as it frees up surface land”. The corporation has already overseen construction of a massive underground oil bunker in rock caverns that freed up a surface area equivalent to six petrochemical plants. The island also saved 300 hectares of space by putting an ammunition bunker underground.
Join this Luncheon session and explore together with Petter Plassbak & Finn Fagervik from Multiconsult what is happening below Singapore’s streets, parks and harbors.
