Norway-Asia Business Summit 2016 - Pictures and Summary Article

The sixth edition of the Norway-Asia Business Summit in Singapore was a huge success and attended by a record number of more than 300 delegates. The Summit was officially opened by Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, at the Clifford Pier, Fullerton Bay Hotel. The two following days was filled with high-level speakers and delegates from Norway and Asia.

The Summit presented opportunities for Norwegian companies in the region, as well as for colleagues coming from Norway, for a rich mix of discussions on business in Asia, Asian economics and Asian politics. The aim was to strengthen the competitiveness of Norwegian businesses in Asia through increased knowledge of political and economic trends, as well as market development in the region.

The main topics for this year’s summit was shipping, offshore and energy, and attention was also given to successful entrepreneurship in Asia and to the ASEAN region.
