Supporting Cambodia's Growing Economy via Phnom Penh Showroom

In the last seven years, Cambodia's economy has steadily maintained an average of 7% growth annually. The World Bank estimates the country's real economic growth rate in 2015 to be 7.5%, compared to 6% in Vietnam and Indonesia. This is a positive indication that Cambodia is developing and opening its doors to foreign investment.

Panasonic recently opened its first integrated showroom and service centre in Phnom Penh to showcase both Business-to-Consumer (B2C) products and Business-to-Business (B2B) solutions, as well as provide touch-and-try experience and excellent customer care. The showroom's strategic location aims to make the brand more accessible to its Cambodian consumers and partners. Beyond just providing a better life through innovative appliances, the company is focused on supporting infrastructure development through solutions for convenience stores, hotels and retail.

The showroom opening marks Panasonic's commitment to the emerging market, following the Solutions Expo held earlier this year.

A dedicated service centre is scheduled to open in Siem Reap by June 2015.
