SingEx Signs MOU with Makuhari Messe INC.
SINGAPORE, 7 APRIL 2015 – SingEx, the management company of Singapore EXPO Convention and Exhibition Centre, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Makuhari Messe Inc., an exhibition and convention centre located in Chiba city, Japan.
The collaboration between SingEx and Makuhari Messe will facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices in venue management and operations; and explore trade events both companies could undertake in their respective venues. This partnership will enable the respective venues to leverage on each other’s contacts and networks to attract shows, exhibitors and trade visitors, creating a wider reach for the mutual benefit of both venues.
Potential organisers will be able to consider staging their events in either venue and through the MOU, can be assured of cross-learnings on hosting their events, which can lead to a more rewarding experience.
Mr Aloysius Arlando, CEO of SingEx states, “This is a momentous milestone for both Makuhari Messe Inc. and SingEx as we embark on a new chapter of partnership.
