May 08, 2012 14:01 SGT Vietnam has jumped 14 spots up the rankings of the best places to be a mother in Save the Children’s thirteenth State of the World’s Mothers report. Under the developing countries category, Vietnam jumped from 34th in 2011 to 20th this year – the single largest improvement in Southeast Asia.

May 08, 2012 13:01 SGT The Philippines has dropped three spots down the Mother’s Index in Save the Children’s thirteenth State of the World’s Mothers report. The index, which ranks 165 countries for being the best and worst places in the world to be a mother, has placed the Philippines in 52nd position under the developing countries category, down from 49th in 2011.
