New Bus Service 803 From 16 February 2014

7 February 2014 – A new feeder bus service – Service 803 – will be launched from Sunday, 16 February 2014 in Yishun. This is the 21th bus service launched under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP).

Service 803 will ply Yishun Central, Yishun Avenue 9, Yishun Ring Road, Yishun Street 31, Yishun Avenue 6 before looping back to Yishun Bus Interchange.

The service will bring residents staying along these roads to Yishun Bus Interchange and Yishun MRT station, where they can transfer to the MRT or other bus services. Service 803 will also bring commuters to amenities in the area such as Northpoint Shopping Centre, Nee Soon East Community Centre and schools such as Yishun Town Secondary School and Xishan Primary School. The new feeder service will serve residents staying in the new HDB housing projects in the area and offer existing residents an alternative travel option.

Vice President for SMRT Buses Ltd, Mr Tan Kian Heong, said: “SMRT Buses has made every effort to bring greater accessibility and more travel options to Yishun residents, and will continue to do so through in-depth study of the estate development, all our feedback channels as well as via grassroots engagement.”

Bus Service 803 will operate daily (including public holidays) from 5.20am till 12.55am on Mondays to Saturdays and from 5.30am till 12.55am on Sundays and Public Holidays.
