Wacom's new DTH-2242 provides the ideal solution for healthcare and presentation markets
Doctors at hospitals and medical centers, opthamologists, and dentists who write, draw or annotate on electronic medical records can now communicate more effectively with their patients. During discussions with patients, healthcare professionals can quickly add notes or draw pictures to make their explanations more impactful and easier to understand. Using the DTH-2242 allows educators as well as presenters in corporate settings, training rooms and boardrooms, to always face their audience when presenting, creating a more intimate experience. In
addition, presenters can engage their audience by adding handwritten notes, annotations and drawings to their material. Standard and custom touch gestures can be used to make navigation within presentations fast and natural.

is easy and intuitive. The large 21.5” IPS LCD panel with HD resolution provides plenty of space for presenters and healthcare professionals to perform their work. The multi-touch of the DTH-2242 supports intuitive navigation and both standard and custom gestures for enhanced workflow. Five user-customizable ExpressKeys provide easy access to shortcuts and commonly used functions.
The DTH-2242 offers excellent reliability, making it a valuable tool for classrooms as well as medical environments. The Wacom pen works without batteries, and is therefore extremely durable and
requires minimal maintenance. To prevent loss, the pen can be tethered to the unit and can be stored in the dedicated pen compartment. A security lock has been designed into the product to prevent theft. The LCD panel of the DTH-2242 features anti-glare properties and is highly scratch resistant. The integrated stand can be adjusted to support inclination angles from 15 to 72 degrees.
Alternatively, the VESA mount allows 3rd party arms or stands to be used.
