Instagram Web Viewer Webstagram Hits 100 Million Page Views and 10 Million Tags

Webstagram now receives 100 million page views per month from web-browsing Instagram users around the world who have also used the tag #webstagram more than 10 million times.

Webstagram’s current monthly page view is around eight times of that in January 2012, which was 13 million.

The use of the webstagram tag (#webstagram) has similarly increased, rising from 3 million to 10 million in just four months.

Founder, Joe Mio expresses his gratitude to Webstagram’s fans who have been around since January 2011 when the website was launched. 

“We'd like to thank our fans who helped us reach these milestones. We are planning to introduce even more useful features to our users around the world.”

Most of Webstagram users come from five different continents with United States, Brazil, and Thailand as its top 3 users by country.

The Instagram website viewer is also known for creating other useful features such as Search.Stagram and DM.stagram, which help Instagram users search for photos, and directly message other users on the web browser.

In addition to features that help discover and browse Instagram photos on desktop computers and laptops, Webstagram also created the first Instagram forum around a month ago (http://forum.stagram.com/), supporting more interaction among the photo enthusiasts with various interests.
