Bus Route Changes due to Completed Road Works at Marina South on 28 September 2014
Due to completed works for the road network in the Marina South area from 28 September 2014, there will be route amendments to SMRT services 106, 982E, NR1 and NR6.
Bus route changes
Due to the straightening of Central Boulevard and expunction of a stretch of slip road between Maxwell Road and Central Boulevard, the existing bus stop along Central Boulevard (BS 03531) will be removed. SMRT bus service 106 travelling towards the direction of Bukit Batok will now call at four new bus stops along Robinson Road and Marina Boulevard.
The current bus stop after Marina Station Road and opposite Marina Bay Financial Centre (BS 03539) will be relocated further up the road, outside Marina Bay MRT station. Service 106 heading toward Shenton Way will now call at the newly relocated bus stop.
Service 982E will also begin its PM trip towards Choa Chu Kang from this bus stop.
Due to the expunction of Marina Station Road, NR1 and NR6 will make a right turn and continue their journey at the junction of Central Boulevard and Bayfront Avenue from Friday, 3 October 2014.
