Press release -

Nordbygg wants to inspire the construction sector to rethink

The work on Nordbygg 2020 is in full swing. Sales of the exhibition area that remains are ongoing and at the same time the rest of the fair content is taking shape. Everything so that visitors and exhibitors get as much as possible out of it.

– Our ambition is as always to offer all visitors and exhibitors a really good experience with inspiration, new knowledge and positive meetings, says Peter Söderberg, Project Manager at Nordbygg. And to get there, we are now working to create a really interesting overall experience.

A lot of what is happening right now in the construction and housing sector is about innovation. This part was also very appreciated by visitors at the last Nordbygg. Therefore, the fair team is working to develop that feature further to fill an innovation arena with concrete content. Among other things, several very exciting start-ups will present rethinking to the construction and housing industry in terms of products and services.

New features and more well-known
Amongst other features now taking shape is a gathered presentation of current award-winning architecture, where construction materials such as glass, steel, concrete, wood and plaster are in the centre.

– The clients are a very important visitor’s group that we wish to offer a good range of inspiration and knowledge. To achieve that, Nordbygg has the aid of Sisab, Skolfastigheter i Stockholm AB (School buildings in Stockholm), who has extensive experience from the area, says Peter Söderberg.

Returning is “Cars that work” and the architecture contest “New Eyes On”, which this time is in cooperation with Byggkeramikrådet (Building Ceramics Council).

Apart from working with Nordbygg’s content, we are now in the final phase of sales. We have just signed an agreement with the six hundredth exhibitor and most of the area, around 85 per cent, is already booked. So it’s high time to act if you want to ensure a spot, Peter Söderberg warns
