In November, 3,243,000 passengers flew to or from Swedavia’s ten airports, a decrease of nearly two per cent compared to the same month last year. During the period January-November, there were a total of 39,051,000 passengers, the same level as last year.

The number of passengers who flew to or from Swedavia’s ten airports in September 2018 was 3,766,000 which is a 2 per cent decrease compared to the same period last year. International passenger volume was essentially unchanged, with 2,577,000 passengers, while domestic volume was down 7 per cent to 1,189,000.

Following years of focused work, which includes electrification of its vehicles, a switch in fuels and implementation of efficiency measures, the airport has now secured its position as one of the most climate-smart in the world.

Swedevia has signed an agreement with Securitas in providing security services at Göteborg Landvetter Airport starting 1 May 2019. Göteborg Landvetter Airport is Sweden’s second largest airport, with about seven million passengers a year.
