Swedavia and CAH establish Sister Airport Relationship

The Swedish airport operator Swedavia and Capital Airports Holding Company (CAH), the largest airport operator in China, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the Establishment of A Sister Airport Relationship in Beijing on 24th February 2016. The MOU establishes a collaboration between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and the biggest airport in Asia, Beijing Capital International Airport.

Today SAS announced one more long distance service from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Beginning on March 14, SAS will start flying non-stop between Stockholm and Los Angeles. The announcement means that Stockholm Arlanda Airport has received thirteen new intercontinental routes since 2013.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport has been selected, as one of ten airports in the world, by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (US CBP) to introduce so-called US preclearance. The announcement means that concrete discussions between Sweden and US CBP will begin in order to ease connections between Sweden and the United States.

Oxford Aviation Academy’s Stockholm training centre is located at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Kabinvägen 5. Arriving at Arlanda Airport Between the Airport terminals and Oxford Aviation Academy there is a free-of-charge shuttle bus (No. 14) leaving every 15 minutes in both directions. It takes only 3-4 minutes to the Radisson Blu Arlandia Hotel and Oxford Aviation Academy. Arriving by car From Stockholm, motorway E4 north: Exit Arlanda, at the round-about turn to Norrtälje/Almunge and turn right at Radisson Blu Arlandia Hotel. From Uppsala, motorway E4 south: Exit Arlanda, second roundabout turn to Norrtälje/Almunge and turn right at Radisson Blu Arlandia Hotel.
