Swedfund Participates in UN PRI

UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) has acknowledged Swedfund’s commitment to integrate the six Principles in our business activity and to submit an annual report of this work.

“Participation in these UN principles of responsible business is consistent with our ambition to continue to prioritize a professional ESG (environmental, social, governance) platform for increased value creation,” says the acting Managing Director, Anders Craft, who adds,

“Our investments take us to low and lower-middle income countries. The application of ESG criteria in our decision making process and in our conduct as owners promotes an improvement in the performance standards for our portfolio entities in these areas. This will, in turn, increase our efforts to promote good corporate citizenship and to create a more stable, sustainable and inclusive world economy.”
