Final call for tech startup talent: Tech Trailblazers Awards close this Friday
Class of 2014 Trailblazers: Enter by Friday 19th September for a chance to win expert mentoring, recognition, great prizes and more…
London, UK – September 17th 2014 – Time is running out for tech startups to enter the Tech Trailblazers Awards, as the competition welcomes final entrants from a range of enterprise tech backgrounds: Big Data, Cloud, Emerging Markets, Mobile, Networking, Security, Storage, Sustainable IT, Virtualization, as well as two exciting new categories ‘FinTech’ and ‘IoT’ (Internet of Things).
The awards also welcome startups from different levels of funding. Aside from the Emerging Markets category, they recently announced the Firestarter program - a new bursary for early stage non VC backed startups, to encourage their involvement in the awards.
With these exciting developments to the awards scheme, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. As ever, the Tech Trailblazers will reward its hottest startups with opportunities and prizes for their business to blaze a trail for the year ahead.
Submissions close on Friday September 19th at 11:59pm Pacific Time at www.techtrailblazers.com.

About the Tech Trailblazers Awards

Tech Trailblazers is a new concept in awards, designed explicitly for smaller businesses and startups that are five years old or less and at C-series funding or below. The awards have low barriers to entry and prizes that not only recognize startup innovation, but also proactively help startups grow their business with access to mentoring, development and prizes. The awards include the following categories:

· European Trailblazers Cup
· Latin American Trailblazers Cup
· North American Trailblazers Cup
Early stage startups (2 years and younger without VC funding) will be able to apply for a chosen tech category free of charge via the new Firestarter bursary and will also be automatically submitted for the new Firestarter award as well as their appropriate Regional Cup.
