Press Release   •   Aug 01, 2013 13:00 GMT

In July 2013, Trustly passed the SEK 11 billion mark in total payments made since the company started operations in 2008.

Trustly’s primary business is direct payments using Internet banking. Trustly’s vision is a world where online payments are secure, convenient and cost-effective.

We develop and sell direct payments with Internet banking across Europe. Our services are designed for both B2C and C2C payments for everyday e-commerce, and payments between private individuals on electronic market places.

The advantages for customers include access to all banks via an integrated platform, an agreement and for end-customers no registration is required, nor do they need to set up a new account, payments are made automatically and are as secure as users' normal online bank accounts.

Trustly is a Swedish payment institution operating under the auspices of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, and was established in 2008.
