About AfroAsia Week

Not Just a Minority

AfroAsia Week is a registered Non Profit Organisation No: 8738153 providing support, community cohesion and social integration and actively preventing disenfranchisement.

We achieve our aims through active action and via a series of activities over each year designed to introduce and to showcase foods, fashion, business, culture and traditions of individuals in Great Britain who are of African or Asian Heritage with our main event being AfroAsia Week.

Our activities are geared toward encouraging social cohesion, togetherness, unity and community togetherness and all revenue raised during AfroAsia Week is ploughed into meeting our charitable aims.

These include creating work training opportunities, sustainable living and development, women and youth empowerment, literacy, heritage and awareness seminars engaging members and elders of African and Asian community to impart and teach about culture and heritage and tailoring courses for public and private sector on heritage and culture perceptions and understanding to help them deliver services better.
