ALLIANZ PROMOTES FROM WITHIN AS IT STRENGTHENS ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT TEAM
Allianz Engineering has announced the appointment of Claire White to the position of engineering underwriting account manager.
Claire joins the businesses senior management team and will be responsible for working with the underwriting team across the division to help deliver on its profitable growth plans whilst focusing on underwriting governance and control. She will also be joining the engineering markets board, the underwriting and technical board, and senior management team.
Claire joined Allianz in 2004 and had worked in a variety of roles including underwriting facilities manager, underwriting manager, Direct SME and executive assistant to general manager.
She has spent the last two years as branch manager of Allianz Commercial’s small business team. In this role Claire was accountable for handling all SME business on behalf of all UK-wide Commercial branches and was responsible for over 80 staff.
Chris Little, director of engineering markets, Allianz Engineering, comments: “I am delighted to welcome Claire to the engineering team. The progress and continual success of the small business team, which now contributes over £70m worth of business, is testament to Claire’s exceptional leadership and talent.”
