ALLIANZ RECRUITS NEW CASUALTY & MOTOR MANAGER

Allianz Insurance has appointed Sarah Mallaby to its Claims division as casualty and motor manager.

Sarah will focus on the direction of motor and casualty claims handling, and will hold the technical responsibility for major loss claims handling, litigation and claim cost control.  In addition, she will personally handle a small case-load of major, complex and strategically important claims.

Sarah will also be responsible for the line management of the major loss, rehabilitation and credit hire claims teams. She replaces Martin Saunders who, following the retirement of Roy Hebburn last year, took over as the Company’s divisional claims manager (Technical).

Martin Saunders comments: “We are very pleased to welcome someone of Sarah’s calibre to Allianz.  She has an excellent breadth of experience in her field and I have every confidence that the knowledge and skill which she brings to Allianz will add huge value to our claims operation.”
