Resources aimed at helping people to plan ahead for the upcoming A38 tunnels closures are now available to download. Click on the links below to download the resources you need:

Employee advice poster

An advice poster that employers can use in staff rooms and on noticeboards to let their staff know of the upcoming closures and encourage them to prepare.

Public information leaflet

A general information leaflet about the closures that can be given to staff, customers, visitors or anyone else you know who visits the city.  


While people who work in or visit the city are being encouraged to use alternative transport during the closures, nine key destination maps are also now available to download. These are suitable for use by motorists who have no choice but to drive into the city centre during the closures, for example delivery drivers.

Councillor Tahir Ali, cabinet member for development jobs and skills, said: “The advice remains that people should look to find alternative ways to travel into the city during these essential works.  There are many great reasons to travel into Birmingham and we hope that by launching these resources, we will be able to help people plan ahead.”
