New report: 30 percent of aviation fuel could be sustainable by 2030

New aircraft and sustainable biofuels will play a vital role in making air travel more environmentally-friendly. In 2030, 30% of all the fuel used at Norwegian airports could be sustainable, provided that the authorities and politicians are in agreement. These were the findings of a new report that was presented at the Arendalsuka arena this week.

Increased traffic in April and a new record for Avinor Oslo Airport

A total of 4,171,684 passengers travelled to and from Avinor’s 45 airports in April. This is an increase of 3.8 per cent compared to last year. The year to date passenger count is 15,850,229, which is an increase of 4.4 per cent. On 28 April, Oslo Airport surpassed 100,000 passengers in a single day for the first time.
