Clear Channel and Reklameservice awarded advertising contracts at Avinor airports

The contracts that have been awarded are for the sale of advertising on outdoor and public advertising surfaces and are effective from 1 January 2018.

"Avinor operates a network of airports and wishes to appear predictable and equal across all our units. We are very pleased to have partners that manage our digital and analogue advertising surfaces in such a professional and innovative way, and we look forward to working with them during the term of the contract", says Commercial Director of Avinor, Maiken Skirstad Mo.

Avinor has decided to award the advertising contract to Clear Channel for the following airports: Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim, Bodø and Tromsø.

"We are very pleased and proud to have gained Avinor’s trust to continue the development of advertising sales at the biggest airports in Norway", says Mats Lundquist, the managing director of Clear Channel in Norway.

"We have an ambitious plan to develop airport advertising, not least to continue digitisation, and we will present our news to the market later in the year. We hope that these exciting new digital products will create a lot of value for the advertisers, who wish to achieve good spending power and reach a relevant target group", he continues.

Reklameservice was awarded the advertising contract for the following airports: Kristiansand, Haugesund, Ålesund and Evenes. They are looking forward to working with Avinor in developing advertising surfaces in the coming years.

"We are planning extensive modernisation and digitisation of advertising surfaces at the different airports, with the main emphasis on large frameless screens and backlit signs as well as specially-designed exhibition spaces and various integration options with digital media. Large, thin surfaces—screen-based as well as printed formats—will provide unique exposure and facilitate interesting opportunities for advertisers. The extensive use of LED technology will help improve the quality of solutions and also reduce the impact on the environment", says Managing Director of Reklameservice, Harald Fredly.

The new contract term will apply from 01/01/2018 to 31/12/2024.
