The new website is primarily aimed at travellers and features information about flight schedules, delays and other flight-related information. The search mechanism is front and centre, and you can now search by route, flight, or subject.
Other information about Avinor’s operations is more clearly distinguished from flight information than before, to enable all target groups to easily find what they need. The web pages automatically adjust to the screen you are using. Universal accessibility is also a high priority in the new solution.
The new pages have been available to mobile users since June, and we have received considerable feedback from the public that has been incorporated into our solution.
Starting 15 September, everyone who goes to www.avinor.no will see the new website. Some functionality and content remain in the former solution pending completion. The old and new website will therefore co-exist for a certain period of time.
Passengers will now enjoy easier and faster access to the wireless network at the airport and will no longer need a code delivered by SMS to log on. Travellers have made it clear via many channels that fast, reliable Wi-Fi is important to them.
With the new logon process, it takes users fewer steps to access Wi-Fi. The steps are described here. Users can still choose between 2 hours of free Wi-Fi as before, or pay for more time and higher speed. Mobile adaptation of the new logon page will be included in the next version.
