Frøslev Træ

As the first Danish wood manufacturer of facade claddings, Frøslev Træ offer architects, building constructors and engineers the best with their products as BIM objects.

Through decades, Frøslev Træ has been known for a wide range of facade claddings with over 400 FT-profiles. Frøslev Træ is able to deliver Spruce, Siberian Larch, Western Red Cedar, ThermoWood^® and OrganoWood^®. Furthermore, there is a wide range of FT-profiles in pressure-treated Pine, which under strict environmental control are treated using NTR standards. The quality of the treated Pine is supplied with a 20 year warranty.

To make the use of Frøslev Træ products and FT-profiles easier, the company is today releasing an integrated app for Revit that automatically places the FT-profiles on a system wall inside of Revit. This gives the possibility to automatically cut holes for doors and windows as well as arrange for the placement of corner elements. The link below allows for download and installation of the Frøslev Revit app.

Gilgen Door Systems

Gilgen Door Systems was founded as a one-man operation in the early ‘60s, supplying automatic drive systems for doors and gates. Today, the Swiss company has a worldwide presence with a workforce of over 900 employees, and is part of the Nabtesco Group.

Gilgen offers systems for automatic doors, industrial doors and gates, sliding-walls, platform screen doors and other solutions. The drive and product-flow systems are designed for pedestrian and traffic management purposes and are fully researched, developed and planned in detail by Gilgen Door Systems, duly installed by experts and maintained by the company’s highly efficient customer service organisations.

Gilgen has now started to digitalise its product range and is releasing its first BIM objects on the BIMobject Cloud this week. In this first stage, the door openers Swing Door Drive Unit FD 20 and FD 20F are published, both for Revit and ArchiCAD users.
