BIMobject® AB opens subsidiary in Poland

BIMobject AB announces an expansion into Poland. BIMobject Poland sp. z o.o. based in Gliwice will be a wholly-owned subsidiary to BIMobject AB. The Polish subsidiary will be a firm base for sales, content management and R&D (Research & Development).

BIMobject sees the Polish market as an important strategic and geographic base for sales, content management and R&D – Poland is a construction and manufacturing hub which provides unique opportunities to deepen BIMobject’s presence in the Eastern European market.

The Polish market for furniture ranks in the top five producers and exporters in the world with an estimated value of 8 billion Euros in 2014. E.g. over 2,500 windows and doors manufacturers makes it the market leader in Europe and world-ranking for roof windows. The Polish tiles manufacturing sector is worth almost 500 million Euros – around 5,6% of the total production in the EU. The sector for household appliances consists of 27 factories – the biggest in the EU. The total sales value in 2014 for construction materials amounted to over 11,3 billion Euros. ()

BIMobject has hired a team of experienced and talented people to cover all the competences needed to run the subsidiary. The Polish BIMobject crew exhibits a blend of competencies in the fields of 3D graphics, virtual reality, computer simulation and entrepreneurship. The collective knowledge base will enrich the entire company and contribute to an accelerated development of BIM solutions.
