The Upper Inn Valley – August 28th – September 4th

I arrived at Zurich with some trepidation, it being my first holiday abroad on my own.  I need not have worried, as I was warmly greeted and taken care of by one of our wonderful guides (Ursula).

The holiday was 2 grades/2 guides, which suited me and others well, as we could interchange walks between the two.

Hotel Goies in enchanting Ladis is family run – very friendly – food excellent.  The scenery was beyond belief – we walked up snow capped mountains in warm sunshine.

Cable car rides, chair lifts, coaches transported us up to dizzy heights – mineral water springs, wild orchids, bright red toadstools, cows with bells –  all helped along with stops for apple strudels and hot chocolate heavily laced with rum.

The group was a friendly lot, and we were well looked after by our guides.

An amazing holiday!
