The EpiFemCare Consortium met for their annual group meeting at GATC Biotech last week. The meeting in a
relaxed atmosphere provided ample opportunities for a social interaction, good coffee and lively discussions. We were happy to host this year’s meeting. Peter Pohl took the opportunity to welcome our guests.
During the course of the meeting, the researchers discussed their preliminary results and the next steps of the project. With state-of-the-art technologies the EpiFemCare project aims to uncover non-invasive tests in order to enable personalised care for breast and ovarian cancer patients, as these two are the most prevalent forms of women’s cancer. The EpiFemCare project is partially funded by the European Union Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP7). For further information please visit http://www.epifemcare.eu/
