Finding The Universe at The Photography Show

We were recently at The Photography Show (19th–22nd March 2016) which takes place annually at the National Exhibition Centre, just outside of Birmingham. With an Olympic themed stand to promote Panasonic’s long running sponsorship of the Olympic Games and partnership with the British Olympic Association, we were exhibiting a wide range of Lumix G, Lumix and HD Camcorders.

Working with some the best known photography bloggers in the UK, we invited our ambassador Laurence from Finding The Universe to head on down and experience the show for himself. Here he gives us a snapshot of what went down...

The Panasonic stand was really clever. I’ve been going on about 4KPhoto capabilities of the Lumix range for a while now, but it’s the sort of things that you really have to experience to get the best understanding of quite how cool it is.”

Laurence took advantage of the gymnast at the stand to try out the 4KPhoto mode with some great results.

This was the perfect opportunity to use the 4KPhoto mode of the GX8, which shines for capturing action. Ribbons, balls, and even a carnival queen – playing around at the Panasonic stand with all the cameras and lenses on display was a lot of fun, and the stand was busy with interested attendees all day.”

One thing he learnt was the importance of a really fast memory card for getting the most out of 4KPhoto – something he picked up from our experts at hand.

Suffice to say, Laurence had a lot of fun at The Photography Show spending hours geeking out over all the new photography gear and learning new tricks in taking the best photo possible. Check out his blog post on the event to learn more about 4KPhoto and see what else Laurence has been up to as a Lumix ambassador.

So if you’re enthusiastic about your photography, give The Photography Show a serious thought for next year and stop-by and say hello –we’ll be pleased to welcome you there. You can register your interest in attending here for 2017.
