On Thursday 3rd November, we will be attending and speaking at Socitm Scotland 2016, Edinburgh. The annual conference focuses on Scotland’s digital future, bringing together leading companies and experts to discuss how technology will continue to shape our professional and personal lives.
This year’s event will take a deeper look at the public sector. The organisations operating within it are so vital to Scottish citizens that it’s imperative for them to not only be a part of the digital future, but to help drive it. Conversations will include how the sector can develop the required skills and encourage more young people to choose a digital career.
We’re delighted to be taking part in the conference. We will be leading a breakout session, examining the role of communications in channel shifting and citizen engagement. With a growing pressure for frontline organisations to control spiralling costs while improving services, digital transformation has become a necessary process. The session will be led by Antony Paul, head of marketing programmes, and Tony Balarsky, software business development manager, who will provide attendees with insight into the latest research around digital transformation, as well as sharing industry best practice. More information on the session can be found here.
Anyone associated with a public sector organisation or charity can register to attend the Socitm Scotland conference. Let us know if you’re going!
