Electricity works in Ramsbottom centre

Electricity North West are carrying out repairs on high voltage underground mains outside the shops on Bolton Street, Ramsbottom.

The work is under the footpath and affects the busy four-way junction at Bolton Road West, Bolton Street, Nuttall Lane and Dundee Lane.

Temporary traffic signals will operate today, although not during the evening rush hour in order to reduce disruption. Pedestrians will be directed to use the pedestrian refuge or push button facilities at the junction. The repairs are expected to take several days.
