Radcliffe base to help those affected by flooding - help offered and donations needed

A base has been set up at Radcliffe Girls & Boys Club to receive donations and help those who have lost goods in the Boxing Day floods.

The base, which is in Withins Avenue, Radcliffe (M26 2XB), is staffed by a team of volunteers co-ordinated by the council.

They are particularly asking for the following items to be donated: personal hygiene products, cleaning equipment and materials, towels and bedding, dehumidifiers, and sharp knives.

Anyone who can help is asked to take those items to the base - and anyone who needs these items is urged to go there for help.
