Bury ranger service walks for April

To celebrate the arrival of spring, Bury’s ranger service is leading two guided circular walks in April.

The first walk is on Thursday 25 April, leaving Nuttall Park in Ramsbottom at 10.30am for Raven Shore and returning at 4.30 pm. The walk is ten miles long and includes climbing up Holcombe Hill.

The second walk will be on Sunday 28 April, leaving Burrs Country Park from the chimney car park at 10.30am and heading for Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom, returning at 4pm. The walk is approximately nine miles long.

For both walks a packed lunch, walking boots and warm/waterproof clothing are advised.
