Postal voters who haven’t yet mailed back their ballots are being assured that they can still have their say in the local and European elections.
Postal votes can be dropped off at Bury Town Hall during weekday working hours or taken to your local polling station on election day, Thursday 22 May, between 7am and 10pm.
For the first time, residents can watch the local election results live as they are declared on Friday 23 May. The council has asked local company Digital Tree UK to live stream the results – you can tune in at http://digitaltreemedia.co.uk/burycouncil/ to see where your vote went.
The council will also be tweeting the results as they come in - follow on Twitter @BuryCouncil - and the scores will also be regularly updated on the council’s website at www.bury.gov.uk/elections2014
