Free car maintenance course at the library

Drivers can learn the basics of car maintenance at a course held at Topping Fold Community Centre and Library.

Run by a local volunteer, with funding from the Community Learning Fund, the session is on Saturday 24 May from 10am to 1pm.

Visitors will be given basic knowledge of how a car works, and shown how to change a tyre and check the tread, and how to check oil and water levels. They will also receive a free tyre pressure and tread gauge worth £15.

The session is free, but places are limited. To book a place, call Claire Bebbington on 0161 253 7890.
