Fungal foray in Chesham Woods

Join fungi expert David Winnard on a guided walk around Chesham Woods Local Nature Reserve on Sunday 4 November.

The walk starts at 1.30pm and will last between one and two hours depending on how much is found. Boots or wellies are essential as some of the footpaths can become muddy at this time of year. The walk will end at the ranger base for a cup of tea and biscuits.

The event has been organised by the Bury Accessible Natural Greenspace project funded by Natural England’s Access to Nature Programme.

Walkers should meet at the Clarence Park Lido car park, offMilner Avenue, Bury. For more information contact David Dutton on 0161 253 7667.
