Council budgets are top of the agenda when Bury West Township Forum meets on Tuesday 17 January.
Residents are invited to give their views after hearing a road show on how the local authority needs to save £32 million over the next three years.
Also on the agenda: Persona Care and Support are inviting people to join a ‘stakeholder forum’ to help shape the future of social care.
And Rob Trueblood, ranger with the cycle charity Sustrans, will be seeking volunteers to take part in a clean-up of the Daisyfield area.
There will also be updates from the forum’s advisory group and the funding available to voluntary and community groups.
The meeting is at the Elton Centre in Alston Street, Bury and starts at 7pm. The usual open forum and public question time is also on the agenda.
Before the meeting, from 6pm, there will be a ‘market place’ event where residents can view the proposals for housing and jobs contained in the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework.
