Inspired by the Games? Then Be Part of It

Organisers of sporting and cultural events are invited to be part of Bury’s Olympic legacy campaign.

Bury Be Part of It is designed to use the London 2012 Games to inspire people to take part in more sport and cultural activities.

Individuals and groups can keep the Olympic buzz alive by using the campaign “toolkit” to publicise their events. The toolkit comes with logos and poster templates and events are promoted through our website and social media via our ‘Bury Be Part of it’ Facebook page and ‘@Bury_BePartOfIt’ Twitter page.

For more details, visit www.bury.gov.uk/bepartofit. The toolkit and expression of interest form to adopt the Bury Be Part of It brand can be found at www.bury.gov.uk/bepartofit/interested.

The council is producing the ‘What’s on Guide’ for November 2012 – March 2013 so events that are registered in time can be included in the guide.
