Let’s play badminton – after school!

A new after-school badminton club is being launched in the new year to give primary school children the opportunity to learn the game.

The club is open to pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 and will be led by a fully qualified coach. It starts on Tuesday 8 January 2013 and will run every Tuesday until 5 February at Castle Leisure Centre in Bury, from 4.15pm until 5.15pm.

The sessions, which have been organised by Bury Sport and Physical Activity Service, cost £3 each and there’s no need to book – just pay as you go!
