Meet author Dan Micklethwaite at Prestwich Library

Readers are invited to meet author Dan Micklethwaite at Prestwich Library on Thursday 4 August (7pm to 8.30pm).

He will be reading from his first novel “The Less Than Perfect Legend of Donna Creosote”, described as a modern fairy tale from the inner city, where the mundane becomes fantastical and the everyday ethereal, but where living happily ever after is often easier read than done. It has also been described as ‘Don Quixote in Huddersfield’!

Both Dan and Kevin Duffy of his publisher Bluemoose Books will answer questions from visitors, who can also buy signed copies of Dan’s book.

Tickets are £4 (refreshments included), available from Prestwich Library (0161 253 7214) or from Fiona Parmanand (0161 253 7510 or f.e.parmanand@bury.gov.uk).
