Summer Soiree has sunny outcome for day centre customers

A Summer Soiree has raised £800 to bring some sunshine to customers who attend Pinfold Lane Day Care Centre in Whitefield.

The money will be used to continually improve and develop the service so that customers who have been diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease can enjoy their time at the centre by providing a modern centre, trips out, entertainers and extra activities equipment.

Visitors at the soiree enjoyed a wine-tasting competition and live entertainment from singer/guitarist Vernon Fuller. There was also a raffle with kindly donated prizes.

Staff at Pinfold Lane thank everyone who took part and helped to make a difference for their customers, and are looking forward to the Winter Warmer event later in the year.
