A packed agenda awaits at the next Radcliffe Township Forum meeting on Wednesday 27 February.
One major item will be the changes to welfare benefits from 13 April, including Council Tax Benefit, Housing Benefit (specifically under-occupancy) and the Social Fund as well as reference to changes to disability related benefits.
There will be a presentation about the “StreetSafe” initiative, to raise awareness of new 20mph speed limits and zones in residential areas.
The forum will also hear about improvements in the borough’s recycling rates since major changes were made to household waste collection, and about the challenges faced in improving the rate further to 50% and beyond.
The meeting is at Radcliffe Civic Suite and starts at 6pm. The usual open forum and public question time will be on the agenda in the second half of the meeting.
