ComAround is organising a Self Service Inspiration Day in conjunction with the 2014 Self Service Awards

On 30 October, the fifth annual Self Service Awards will be held at Cirkus on Kungliga Djurgården, Stockholm. This event, which pays tribute to the organisations and individuals who, in various ways, have been the most successful in providing support with the help of ComAround's self-service solution, will be preceded this year by a Self Service Inspiration Day.

Self Service Inspiration Day is a full day of lectures, case studies, workshops and experience exchange, and will take place at Hotel Hasselbacken on Djurgården, Stockholm on 30 October. The day is led by Göran Adlén, who is a trend analyst, author and one of Sweden's most sought-after speakers. In addition to his penetrating insight, we will be treated to case studies and presentations by Ann-Marie Ovin, CIO at Advokatfirman Vinge, and the 2014 Service desk Manager Daniel Wåg from Systembolaget. The afternoon will offer round-table discussions on the marketing of self-service in the organisation and creative workshops with ComAround's developers.

In the evening, the 2014 Self Service Awards will be held at Cirkus on Djurgården. The event is being held for the fifth consecutive year, and honours the organisations and individuals that have had the most success in the last year with promoting and streamlining the support work with the help of ComAround's self-service solution. Prizes will be awarded in the categories Strategic Support of the Year, Migration of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Self Service Star of the Year. The last category was introduced in 2013 to highlight the work of individuals and award a person who has made a remarkable contribution to the success of self-service in the organisation.

We are proud to present this year's Self Service Awards jury who all have vast experience within support and self-service. Lars-Ola Lundqvist sits as the new chair of the jury, and is the Country Manager at Support Services Institute (SSI) Sweden. The other members of the jury are Jaana Strand, vice chair of the jury and one of the founders of ComAround; Sebastian Teeling, Instructor/Project leader at ComAround Sweden; and Per-Kristian Nyborg, who is an Instructor/Project leader at ComAround Norway.

The nominees will be presented on 23 September and the winners declared on 30 October at Circus on Kungliga Djurgården, Stockholm.
