Swansea’s Brynhyfryd Dental is awarded Best Team in Wales at national Dentistry Awards

Brynhyfryd Dental in Swansea is celebrating after winning the Dentistry Awards category for Best Team in Wales. The event is the UK’s largest dental awards ceremony and was held at the historical Athena venue in Leicester on 23^rd November. The prestigious award is judged by an independent panel of dental professionals and recognises excellence in dentistry.

Dr Gareth Crowther, Principal Dentist at Brynhyfryd Dental only took ownership of the practice this year and has already made great progress, gaining British Dental Association Good Practice status in June, introducing new working methods and completing a refurbishment. The practice also offers Denplan payment plans and Dr Crowther is Dental Phobia certified.

He joined an experienced team, with every member having worked in the practice for over 16 years, so achieving a unified approach so quickly and delivering high standards of patient care, is a real testament to everyone who works at the practice.

He said: “I felt it appropriate to nominate us all for the awards based upon how proud I am of all we have achieved this year. I was not expecting to win and even being a finalist was amazing enough. The elation when we were called up to the stage cannot be described. It was all the more special as it recognised the efforts of the whole team.”
